Held biennially, the workshop features expert-led panels, small-group discussions, and networking sessions designed to help participants build professional skills, expand their research vision, and strengthen connections within the computing research community.

The 2026 CRA Career Mentoring Workshop will take place February 9-10, 2026, in Washington, D.C. The 2026 workshop will be co-located with the CRA Board of Directors Meeting, creating unique opportunities for attendees to engage with senior computing research leaders through crossover receptions and shared lunches.
As in previous years, the event will include small-group meetings with federal agency program officers, providing valuable insight into research funding opportunities and agency priorities.
